Dear reader,
Thank you for coming to my website and for choosing to find out a little bit more about me.
I realized that with my open-mindedness and never satiating hunger for knowledge, I am changing and transforming at such a pace that it is really hard to label me or put me in one definite box. I am everywhere and NOWhere. Misunderstood and fully appreciated.
As you may have gathered by now, I love writing down my thoughts. And I love sharing with people around me what I read and learn so I felt like initially, this blog can be a place where I can do exactly that. All of my research revolves around finding the answer on this simple question “How to live a healthy life with purpose?”
I look for answers in different books on psychology, self-help, business, entrepreneurship, spirituality, and nutrition. I will share my findings and takeaways, as I have learned by now that the best way to memorize the new things we find is to write them down.
The beauty of being a seeker of knowledge is that you can take any path you’d like. There is no right or wrong, there is just a process of learning and shaping and growing. It can take you anywhere. As my blog grows, we will see where this path will take me and I’ll do my best to share with you what I learn so that we may both grow together.
If this happens to be your cup of tea too, I think you may just like this blog. So if you do, feel free to subscribe to my mailing list so I can pour some of my tea into your cup every once in a while.
I will do my best to regularly update this blog, but due to my traveling and multiple roles that I take, I do tend to put my writing aside sometimes. But the calling for writing is very strong in me so I always come back to it, and this is such a good place to come back to! So glad you can join me in those moments. Thank you!
About me – in short
I was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia by my parents Miomir and Vera. I have an older sister Marija who is also my business partner and best friend. We both left Serbia to study abroad when we were 18. I studied in Italy and then moved to Monaco where I live with my love for the past 12 years.
I am also a mother of two little kids, 5 years old boy Stefan and 2 and a half-year-old girl Tara. I’m also a mother of two dogs: white toy poodle Pierre who is 12 year old now, and a brown toy poodle named Tesla – 6 years old. I am married to a wonderful human being, Novak, who happens to be known to many people around the world as one of the best tennis players of all time. Together, we are working on his brand development and growth and that is a very exciting adventure for both of us.
I run our charity foundation that is focused on empowering families and future leaders of the society by investing in quality early childhood education and development, which covers the period between the birth of a child all up to 8 years of age. In order to support the development of kids during this stage of life, my team and I are opening and renovating kindergartens and outdoor spaces, training teachers, buying materials for working with children, organizing support groups for parents and investing in research and studies of this particular stage of development. All of our work is mainly focused in Serbia, but we have supported many different organizations worldwide too such as Australia, Miami, Croatia, and Bosnia, whose missions are aligned with ours.
I have started another project four years ago called Original Magazine, that is slowly but surely growing into a platform that unites like-minded people who seek knowledge, inspiration and want to go through life and business by following values of honesty, integrity, respect, and love.
If you ask me how I’d like to be remembered or known…
I would like to be remembered as a curious soul who loves life and lifelong learning. The roles I take on in this life are helping me grow in so many ways, and my biggest and most important teachers in life are my children. They have reconnected me with my true self, helped me unveil my soul, and showed me how to lead a more meaningful life.
I live by values of gratitude, honesty, respect, kindness, forgiveness, and love and try to practice them through everything I do. One of the hardest lessons I hope to learn and practice every day in my life is how to love myself fully. Everything I absorb through my learning helps me evolve and grow.
Error cannot really threaten the truth, which can always withstand it. Only error is actually vulnerable.
I tend to make mistakes a lot, that is my process of learning.
Thank you for joining me on my path 🙂
